Game Highlights

Game Report

The Miami Heat dominated the Boston Celtics, securing a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Gabe Vincent put up an impressive 29-point performance, leading the Miami Heat to a convincing 128-102 victory over the Boston Celtics. With this win, the Heat now stand just one victory away from securing their second NBA Finals appearance in four seasons. Vincent's shooting was exceptional, making 11 of 14 shots, including 6 of 9 from beyond the arc. Additionally, Duncan Robinson and Caleb Martin contributed significantly off the bench, scoring 22 and 18 points respectively. Jimmy Butler had a solid all-around game with 16 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Miami showcased their offensive prowess, shooting an outstanding 56.8 percent from the field (46 of 81) and an impressive 54.3 percent from 3-point range (19 of 35).

Heading into Game 4 of the best-of-seven series, the Miami Heat extended their unbeaten record at home in the playoffs to 6-0. In a commanding performance, they outscored the Boston Celtics 32-17 in the third quarter, taking control of the game. Bam Adebayo contributed 13 points, while Max Strus added 10 points to the Heat's effort. On the other side, Jayson Tatum secured a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics, while Jaylen Brown scored 12 points. However, Tatum and Brown struggled with their shooting, collectively making just 12 of 35 shots from the field and 1 of 14 from beyond the arc. The Heat's victory sets the stage for an important Game 4 matchup in Miami.

With a 3-0 series deficit, the Boston Celtics find themselves in a difficult position. Throughout NBA history, no team has managed to overcome such a deficit and emerge victorious in a series. Despite the odds, the Celtics showed resilience by narrowing a 22-point gap to 12 points, making it 61-49 with Marcus Smart's successful three-point play early in the third quarter. However, the Miami Heat responded with a dominant 28-9 run, taking firm control of the game. Gabe Vincent played a significant role in Miami's surge, hitting two crucial 3-pointers. Entering the fourth quarter, the Heat held an impressive 93-63 lead, prompting both teams to rest their key players. Vincent continued his impressive shooting display with consecutive 3-pointers, while Duncan Robinson also contributed from beyond the arc, extending Miami's advantage to 112-83 with 4:43 remaining in the game.

At halftime, the Miami Heat held a commanding 61-46 lead over their opponents. They achieved this advantage by shooting a scorching 57.5 percent from the field, making 23 of 40 shots, and an impressive 45 percent from 3-point range, connecting on 9 of 20 attempts. Caleb Martin showcased his shooting prowess by sinking three 3-pointers, contributing to his total of 11 points. Duncan Robinson and Gabe Vincent also made significant contributions from beyond the arc, each hitting two 3-pointers and finishing with 10 points apiece. However, the game saw an unfortunate turn for Miami's Kevin Love, who started the game with five quick points but was forced to exit after just five minutes due to an ankle injury.
